VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY EXPO 2011
INSURANCE & INDEMNIFICATION PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

In consideration of being permitted to use Villanova University's facilities and participate in the Villanova University Technology Expo on April 7, 2011, the undersigned, on behalf of its Organization, agrees to the following insurance requirements and indemnification statement.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

The Organization certifies that it maintains the following insurance coverage:

  • Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence
  • Automobile Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per accident
  • Property Insurance covering, on a replacement cost basis, any Organization's property brought on campus
  • Workers Compensation insurance covering Organization's employees and volunteers participating in the Technology Expo.

A certificate of insurance evidencing coverage in compliance with these requirements will be furnished upon request.

INDEMNIFICATION STATEMENT:

In consideration of my Organization being permitted to participate in the Villanova University Technology Expo, I and my Organization hereby agree to release,indemnify and hold harmless Villanova University, its agents, servants, students and employees from and against any and all loss, damage, liability or expense, including attorney's fees, including but not limited to all claims for damages on account of or by reason of bodily injury, including death, which may be sustained or claimed to be sustained by any person, and all damages to property, caused by or arising out of or claimed to have been caused by or to have arisen out of the use of the facilities by me or my Organization, whether or not caused by the negligence of Villanova University, its agents or employees.

I understand that Villanova University will not be responsible for any physical damage occurring to property owned by me or my Organization. I further understand that I will be responsible for, and will indemnify Villanova University for, any damage to the equipment or property of Villanova University, including but not limited to audio-visual equipment.

I have the authority to bind the Organization to this Insurance & Indemnification Participation Agreement.
