PURPOSE
The largest college recruitment program in the state brings together New Jersey area employers with college students and graduates seeking employment. Experienced candidates are also welcome to attend.
EMPLOYER PARTICIPATION - About 150 employers will have current and anticipated openings in most career fields and academic majors, including liberal arts, business, science and technical areas. (Some careers are generally not represented, such as education, advertising, public relations and the media.)
CANDIDATE PARTICIPATION - Open to students and graduates from any college or university, all degree levels and majors, who wish to work in New Jersey. Resume submission is not required to attend the event, but is required to participate in the electronic resume database. Dress for interviewing and bring plenty of resumes. There is no fee.
RESUME DATABASE - Have your resume distributed to all employers attending the career day via an electronic database which will be sent to each employer one week after the event.

WE WILL NOT COLLECT RESUMES AT THE EVENT FOR THE DATABASE. BRING RESUMES TO GIVE TO THE EMPLOYERS. You may attend the event without submitting your resume online. However, it is highly recommended to include your resume in the database which will be sent to each employer one week after the event.

MIT European Career Fair - deadlne 11/23
The MIT European Career Fair (ECF) Team would like to invite your students interested in working in Europe (full time or internship position) to come to the Fair that they are organizing in Boston from January 29th to February 1st, 2010.
The ECF aims at matching students and young professionals with major companies and non-profit organizations operating in Europe. Now in its 14th year the Fair has grown to be one of the largest transatlantic career fairs in the U.S. Last year it gave the opportunity to more than 3,000 candidates to approach over 100 companies. A three-day event, the Fair is organized in close collaboration with The European Commission, includes interview sessions, personalized introductions, and showcases several seminars by leading industry executives and government institutions.
Candidates who wish to participate are invited to submit their résumés to http://www.euro-career.com by November 23, 2009. All backgrounds and levels of expertise are welcome. The ECF's searchable database will then allow employers to view résumés prior to the Fair and schedule On-site interviews with selected candidates for January 31st and February 1st.

* PROFILE - select view/edit profile from the drop down menu and complete or update your profile.
* RESUME - Select upload your resume from the drop down menu. If you are seeking employment this year, be sure to publish a general resume to the appropriate resume book(s).
* JOBS & INTERNSHIPS - companies interviewing on campus will have a ‘people’ picture icon. Select the one-click search jobs with upcoming interview schedules to see the listing of positions that have been entered to date. Read the job details (which includes application deadline and special request) to determine interest and eligibility. If interested, scroll down and hit submit and select the resume you wish to send to the employer.
After the application deadline, resumes will be sent to the employer for them to make their selections.
* APPLICATIONS – When employers make their interview selections, 'accepted' students will be notified by email to sign up for a time in this area. If selected, you must sign up for a time. If an interview slot is not filled, 'alternates' will be notified to sign up on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Our annual Externship Day Program provides aspiring accountants the opportunity to gain first-hand exposure into the world of public accounting. This year, students will have the option of choosing between two session dates, January 14th or 15th, 2010. On either day, students will visit our Cherry Hill office for a five-hour interactive session focusing on various aspects of public accounting. This resume writing workshop, developed by Career Services, will help you identify what to include on your resume, and how to write it and format it effectively. Following all the steps in the workshop will result in a well designed and effective resume created in Microsoft Word. If you have already started or have a resume, the workshop will not only make your resume a better document, but help prepare you for upcoming interviews. No registration required.
