Chemistry Tutoring for First-year Chemistry Classes
Chemistry tutors will be available two evenings per week to provide homework help for students enrolled in first-year Chemistry classes. Please come prepared to do your homework problems, with the added resource of a tutor's assistance if needed. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 p.m. in the South Campus Dining Hall.

2009 Critical Language Scholarships for Intensive Summer Institutes
The United States Department of State and the Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) are pleased to announce the availability of overseas scholarships for intensive summer language institutes in eleven critical need foreign languages. Languages include: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla/Bengali, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Turkish, and Urdu. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
The Gilman International Scholarship Program provides awards of up to $5,000 for U.S undergraduate students to study abroad for up to one academic year. The program aims to diversify the kinds of student who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go. Students must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application. National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship
The Institute of International Education (IIE) is accepting applications for the 2009-2010 National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarships for undergraduate students for study abroad. The 2009-2010 Boren Scholarships provide funding for summer, semester, or yearlong study in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. national security, but are underrepresented in study abroad. After completion of the program, recipients are required to work in the Federal government for a period of time equal to the duration of the assistance provided under the program. DHS is the leading agency for the U.S. Government mobilizing and organizing our nation to secure the homeland from terrorist. OPA is responsible for developing and implementing the Department’s message regarding homeland security and the oversight of the website, secretarial events, public outreach, media relations, and communications to all regional offices. Interns will be working on various projects related to the mission of the Office of Public Affairs and it’s 12 functional areas. The Jubilee Year of Paul
To inspire a renewed dedication to proclaiming the Gospel, Pope Benedict announced a special Jubilee Year to the Apostle Paul from June 28, 2008 to June 29, 2009, on the occasion of the bi-millennium of Paul’s birth, which historians have placed between the years 7 and 10 AD. In support of this declaration and in collaboration with the universal church, Villanova University announces a year long celebration of the Jubilee Year Dedicated to the Apostle Paul. It will be an especially important year with regard to envisioning a future enlightened by St. Paul's imagination and to retrieving the power of his letters for today.
